What is fortune?

Growing up in a family that loved you.

Having a caring father around.

Not having to earn livelihood at a young age is fortune.

Being able to study properly and gain good education is also a fortune.

While driving on the highway, I stopped for a tea break.

It was made and served by a young boy of 12-13 years. Smiling, jovial with shiny eyes.

Enjoying his work and giving his full attention.

The boy had left school because his father had passed away recently.

Sometimes we take things that we have for granted. As if what we have is a given.

Those who do not have it, makes you realise how fortunate we have been.

How kind life has been to us.

Enjoy this journey. There is lot to crib about. If you think deeply, more often than not, you will find, we are really lucky to be where we are.

Not everyone gets what we have.
