Test everything according to your reasoning. Do not trust it blindly because someone says that a particular approach or thing will not work. Try it on your own, maybe it will work for you.

Always remember, people have their own perception and belief about things. They are biased towards supporting their own belief systems. It's always better to try and test everything on your own.
